Sue Robinson asked me to share this: If we could please pray for her. Sue has been having tests this past week and this morning they called and said that they have found something and she is having surgery tomorrow morning at 7:45am. Father God, she needs You!

I am having a surgical procedure Monday morning at 8:30 am, at Victoria Hospital, to remove an area of melanoma from my cheek below my right eye! Asking for prayer that the surgeon is able to remove it all, that it has not spread and that I will not have any further areas of melanoma! Also peace for Jim and I. God is good all the time! Thank you!

This request is from a special friend of mine and has given me permission to share it with all prayer warriors. Leslie Pettinger would like prayers for her husband Chris as he has had a massive heart attack yesterday. The doctors had to put him into a medically induced coma yesterday in order to hopefully prevent his brain from further possible damage. At 7 pm tonight, they have started to wean him off some of the medications to let his body "wake" up and see how he responds. So far he is stable, but they do not know to what extent the degree of brain and heart damage is. Leslie believes and is professing 110% for a miracle of healing! So please pray along with her and the family that Chris will be restored to full health. Thank you.

Thank you to everyone that has been praying for my Dad. He is finally gaining enough strength to get back to his regular routine. So far everything is healing well. He is still undergoing tests to determine what caused the abscess and if his appendix needs to be removed. Please continue to pray for wisdom for the doctors and strength for my parents as he continues to go through the many tests and appointments

On November 17, 2014 I had put through a prayer request for my brothers. At that time they had not spoken in over a year and my prayer was that they would get together that Christmas so that we could enjoy Christmas as a family. That was not the case for Christmas 2014.
Over the course of 2015 many of you continued to pray for this request. It had been prayed for a total of 70 times. And Praise God! He worked a miracle for Christmas 2015.
My older brother forgave my middle brother and surprised us all by coming earlier than expected so that he could spend Christmas with all of us. December 22 was the first time they spoke in well over two years.
Thank you for all your prayers. Thank you Father for your goodness. Praise You for Your Love!

Our second Quiz meets are coming up! The senior quizzers are heading to Mississauga on Saturday and the junior quizzers are heading to West London Alliance on January 16th. Please pray for good weather on both days as we travel with the kids to the quiz meets. Pray for safety and fun. Please also pray that the kids would feel confident and that they would all have the opportunity to answer questions. Pray that Holy Spirit would give them peace and that we could help them to feel encouraged. Once again pray that relationships would flourish amongst team members, between teams, and between quizzers and coaches. Pray all of the Youth would realize how special they are and that they would find enjoyment in reading God’s Word and that Holy Spirit would continue to reveal new truths to them. Thank you for always keeping us in your prayers 🙂

-Students and leaders shine the gospel intentionally with families and friends over the holidays!
-Students have courage to invite friends when youth starts up again in January!
-And that the relationships we have started with each other grow and stay strong in the Lord.

Joe and I would like to thank those who prayed for and with us during my various testing and Dr. appointments.
Yesterday I went to see my Surgeon and he said "he did not want to see me for six months" - we are on hold - the tumour is significantly small so he doesn't want to do surgery now.
We praise you Father and thank you for your mercy towards us. We thank you for loving us so and hearing our heart's cry.

Please keep my dad Rob Kraan in your prayers. A few weeks ago he went into the hospital in extreme pain and they found that he had an abscess on his appendix. He spent 5 days in the hospital on medication to try to get the abscess to go down. He then returned back to the hospital two days after he was discharged and they discovered that the abscess has grown. They transferred him to London where they drained it and he spent more time in the hospital. He is now home but very weak. He has a bag attached to him which continues to drain the fluid. He goes back to the doctor tomorrow to check on it and find out what else they can do. Please pray that the abscess continues to drain and that he can regain his strength again. My dad is a go-getter and it's been very difficult for him to not be able to do very much.

Tuesday 12:40 p.m. I have just returned from a visit with our dear, dear friends Hank (Henry) and Andrea Harley. Upon Hank's return from California he has been diagnosed with 2 new tumours on his brain which are malignant. He goes to Victoria Hospital tomorrow for a MRI and starts chemo Friday. Hank loves the Lord so much and has experienced God's healing of tumours before. He requests prayers for healing again of these new tumours. Pray for wisdom for the Doctors as they decide which is the best way to treat him. Pray also or peace and strength for both Hank and Andrea as they journey ahead.

I want to praise God for all of you who prayed for my mom and I and for all of us who went to the Beth Moore event! My mom asked Peter and I to pray for her that she would be faithful to be in God's Word when she went home, and that is of the Father!! I ask you to pray with us. Ps 89:1 "I will sing of the Lord's great love forever; with my mouth I will make Your faithfulness known through all generations."

Praising God that my mom is coming to the Beth Moore event with me. She asked if she could come and I am so thankful that there was one ticket left. If you could pray for us that God would open our hearts to all He has for us.

Our first Quiz meets of the year are fast approaching. This Saturday the Senior Quizzers are heading to West London Alliance and the following weekend the Junior Quizzers are quizzing at TAC.
Please be in prayer for them as they compete against the other kids. Pray that this be a more of a fun time of fellowship and less of a competition. Pray also that these relationships would flourish amongst team members, between teams, and between quizzers and coaches. Pray that there are a lot of laughs and that God would replace any anxiety with peace and confidence. That Holy Spirit would help bring to mind and heart their verses and that everyone would have the opportunity to jump and answer a question. Thank you for always keeping us in your prayers 🙂

William (our son in New Zealand) is welcoming people to pray along with him for specific direction on how long to stay in New Zealand after his Bible School program ends on Dec. 17th. He has a few options before him to extend his time in New Zealand or he will return to Canada to get a job.
