Ephesians Quick Es (1:5-6)

When I first read it I couldn’t make sense of it. He predestined us for adoption. There is joy in adoption but that joy often follows on the heels of a loss… a profound sorrow. Why would God predestine me for adoption? We’ll be talking about this in the message but for now maybe read the verses and sit with it for a while.
